Preparing for an interview

1. Appearance matters!

It doesn’t matter if it’s in-person or over video:

• You only get one chance to make a first impression and grooming standards are highly valued in this industry
• Make sure you won’t get disturbed. Don’t do video calls in the street or in your car in you can help it

2. Check your tech!

• make sure everything works and connects, ensure the sound is good

• Set your device up somewhere stable. Don’t hold it in your hand

3. Pre-plan your answers

• Think about real-life examples for things you know you’re likely to get asked about, such as complaint handling, your understanding of 5* service and how you’ve managed to up sell products and service
